The concert of the Syrian artist Assala Nasri in Los Angeles witnessed a funny incident that took over social media platforms when a small child came up on stage holding a rose in his hand.
Don't Get Too Close
Assala dealt with the child with her usual light-heartedness, asking him not to get too close to her "so that her husband doesn't get jealous," referring to her husband, the Iraqi poet Faik Hassan, who was among the audience. The audience reacted strongly to the amusing scene, especially with the signs of confusion visible on the child's face, prompting Assala to quickly tease him and lighten the mood.
Comments praising Assala and her ability to connect with her audience of all ages, especially children, who she shows a lot of affection and communication skills towards, flooded in, all in a fun atmosphere.
Assala is known for her light-heartedness and her talent in engaging with attendees at her concerts, where she is never short of quick wit or a humorous, cheerful spirit.
