كشف المتحدث باسم النادي الأهلي ماجد الفهمي عدداً من الملفات المتعلقة بالفريق الأول لكرة القدم، وفي مقدمتها كواليس استقالة المدرب الألماني ماتياس يايسله، ومستقبل بعض اللاعبين، وتحركات النادي في سوق الانتقالات، مؤكداً أن العمل تضاعف خلال الأسبوعين الماضيين لاستكمال احتياجات الفريق والمنافسة بقوة على جميع البطولات.
وقال الفهمي، خلال ظهوره في برنامج «دورينا غير»، إن يايسله ظل بعد عودة بعثة الفريق إلى جدة يستفسر عن أوضاع الملعب والتدريبات والترتيبات المتعلقة بالفريق، قبل أن تُفاجأ الإدارة بتقديمه استقالته، مشيراً إلى أن النادي لا يرغب في العودة للحديث عن الماضي، وأن الإدارة قدمت للمدرب الألماني كل ما يمكن لتلبية متطلباته، إلا أنه فضّل الرحيل.
وأوضح أن الأهلي تحرك سريعاً بعد استقالة يايسله للتعاقد مع جهاز فني يتوافق مع النهج والأسلوب الذي كان يسير عليه الفريق، مشدداً على أن خيارات النادي في سوق الانتقالات ما زالت مفتوحة لاستكمال جميع المتطلبات الفنية، وسدّ الخانات التي يحتاجها الفريق قبل الاستحقاقات القادمة.
وحول رحيل الثنائي رياض محرز وفرانك كيسيه، أكد الفهمي أن القرار كان «فنياً بحتاً» وليس لأسباب مادية، وأن مغادرتهما جاءت بناءً على قرار من يايسله، نافياً أن يكون للمدير الرياضي روي بيدرو أي دور في قرار الاستغناء عنهما.
ودافع الفهمي عن عمل بيدرو، موضحاً أن جميع التعاقدات التي أبرمها الأهلي خلال الفترة الماضية عُرضت على يايسله وحصلت على موافقته، وأن المدير الرياضي لا يملك صلاحية فرض أي لاعب على المدرب، مشيراً إلى أن العمل الذي يقدمه بيدرو حالياً «مضاعف» في سبيل تجهيز الفريق بالصورة المطلوبة.
وفي ما يتعلق بإمكانية عودة كيسيه إلى صفوف الأهلي، اكتفى الفهمي بالتأكيد على أن النادي في حالة مفاوضات مع عدد من اللاعبين، وأن كل لاعب غادر سيتم تعويضه، مضيفاً: «ماضون في سدّ كل الخانات»، في إشارة إلى استمرار التحركات الأهلاوية لإغلاق الملفات الفنية المتبقية.
وحسم الفهمي مستقبل الحارس السنغالي إدوارد ميندي، مؤكداً استمراره مع الفريق، فيما أشار إلى أن ملف الفرنسي إنزو ميو سيتم حسمه قريباً، لافتاً إلى أن سياسة النادي تقوم على الاستقرار والمحافظة على العناصر التي يحتاجها الفريق، وأن «كل لاعب يحتاجه النادي الأهلي سوف يستمر».
وتطرق الفهمي إلى حالة الظهير علي مجرشي، مؤكداً أن اللاعب يمر بظروف خاصة، وطالب الجميع بالابتعاد عن تداول تفاصيل ما يمر به احتراماً لخصوصيته.
وعن الأجواء داخل الفريق، بعث الفهمي برسالة طمأنة إلى جماهير الأهلي، مؤكداً أن الفريق متماسك وأن اللاعبين يعيشون حالة من الحماس قبل انطلاق المنافسات، حتى أنهم يرددون أهازيج النادي داخل غرفة الملابس اشتياقاً للجماهير، ويتحدثون بفخر كبير عن البطولات التي حققوها بقميص الأهلي، رغم امتلاك عدد منهم سجلاً حافلاً بالألقاب والإنجازات العالمية.
وأكد أن العمل داخل النادي تضاعف خلال الأسبوعين الماضيين، وأن المسؤولية مشتركة بين جميع العاملين، مشدداً على أن الأهلي سيدخل كل بطولة بهدف المنافسة عليها، وقال: «أي بطولة سيلعب فيها الفريق فهو مؤهل لحصادها».
واختتم الفهمي حديثه برسالة إلى المدرج الأهلاوي، مؤكداً أن الإدارة تستمد قوتها من جماهير النادي، وقال: «الإدارة لا تتنفس إلا من خلال الجمهور.. اطمئنوا، فالأهلي سيكون صاحب تاريخ كبير هذا الموسم».
The spokesperson for Al-Ahli Club, Majid Al-Fahmi, revealed several files related to the first football team, foremost among them the details surrounding the resignation of German coach Matthias Jaissle, the future of some players, and the club's movements in the transfer market, confirming that work has doubled over the past two weeks to fulfill the team's needs and compete strongly in all tournaments.
Al-Fahmi stated during his appearance on the program "Dourina Ghair" that Jaissle continued to inquire about the conditions of the stadium, training, and arrangements related to the team after the squad returned to Jeddah, before the management was surprised by his resignation. He pointed out that the club does not wish to revisit the past and that the management provided the German coach with everything possible to meet his requirements, but he preferred to leave.
He explained that Al-Ahli acted quickly after Jaissle's resignation to contract with a coaching staff that aligns with the approach and style the team was following, emphasizing that the club's options in the transfer market are still open to fulfill all technical requirements and fill the gaps needed by the team before the upcoming commitments.
Regarding the departure of duo Riyad Mahrez and Franck Kessié, Al-Fahmi confirmed that the decision was "purely technical" and not for financial reasons, and that their departure was based on a decision from Jaissle, denying that sporting director Rui Pedro had any role in the decision to let them go.
Al-Fahmi defended Pedro's work, explaining that all contracts concluded by Al-Ahli during the past period were presented to Jaissle and received his approval, and that the sporting director does not have the authority to impose any player on the coach, noting that the work Pedro is currently doing is "multiplied" in order to prepare the team as required.
Regarding the possibility of Kessié returning to Al-Ahli, Al-Fahmi merely confirmed that the club is in negotiations with several players and that every player who left will be compensated, adding: "We are moving to fill all gaps," referring to the ongoing efforts by Al-Ahli to close the remaining technical files.
Al-Fahmi clarified the future of Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, confirming his continuation with the team, while he indicated that the file of French player Enzo Mbuyu will be resolved soon, pointing out that the club's policy is based on stability and maintaining the elements needed by the team, and that "any player needed by Al-Ahli will continue."
He addressed the situation of full-back Ali Majrashi, confirming that the player is going through special circumstances, and urged everyone to refrain from discussing the details of what he is experiencing out of respect for his privacy.
On the atmosphere within the team, Al-Fahmi sent a reassuring message to Al-Ahli fans, confirming that the team is cohesive and that the players are experiencing a state of excitement before the competitions begin, to the extent that they chant the club's anthems in the locker room out of longing for the fans, and they speak with great pride about the championships they have achieved while wearing the Al-Ahli jersey, despite many of them having a rich history of titles and global achievements.
He confirmed that the work within the club has doubled over the past two weeks, and that the responsibility is shared among all employees, emphasizing that Al-Ahli will enter every tournament with the aim of competing for it, stating: "Any tournament the team plays in, it is qualified to win."
Al-Fahmi concluded his remarks with a message to the Al-Ahli stands, confirming that the management draws its strength from the club's fans, saying: "The management only breathes through the fans... Rest assured, Al-Ahli will have a great history this season."
