حدثت وزارة البلديات والإسكان، الاشتراطات الصحية، ورفعت كفاءة الرقابة الميدانية، واعتمدت الحلول التقنية في متابعة المنشآت الغذائية وحماية صحة المستهلك وسلامة الغذاء، من خلال تطوير الشهادات الصحية للعاملين ورفع كفاءة إصدارها إلكترونيًا، وتأهيل الكوادر العاملة في القطاع وتحسين الممارسات المرتبطة بسلامة الغذاء.
وفي الجانب الرقابي، تُنفذ الأمانات والبلديات جولات ميدانية على المطاعم والمطابخ ومحلات بيع الأغذية؛ للتحقق من الالتزام بالاشتراطات الصحية، ومتابعة طرق إعداد الأغذية وحفظها وتداولها، ورصد المخالفات واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية حيال المنشآت غير الملتزمة.
واعتمدت الوزارة الكاميرات المحمولة وسيلة رئيسية ضمن منظومة الرقابة الذكية، إذ يجري استخدامها لتوثيق الجولات وربطها مباشرة بتطبيق «ممتثل»، الأمر الذي يرفع مستوى الشفافية ويحفظ حقوق المراقبين وأصحاب المنشآت أثناء تنفيذ الأعمال الرقابية.
وتتكامل هذه الجهود مع التنسيق القائم بين الأمانات والبلديات والجهات ذات العلاقة بالصحة وسلامة الغذاء، إلى جانب أعمال الرقابة الشاملة ومتابعة مستوى الامتثال في المنشآت الغذائية بمختلف مناطق السعودية.
ودعت الوزارة أفراد المجتمع إلى الإبلاغ عن الملاحظات والمخالفات في المنشآت الغذائية، مؤكدة أهمية المشاركة المجتمعية في دعم أعمال الرقابة، وسرعة معالجة البلاغات والمحافظة على سلامة الغذاء.
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has updated health regulations, enhanced field monitoring efficiency, and adopted technological solutions to follow up on food establishments and protect consumer health and food safety. This is achieved through the development of health certificates for workers and improving their electronic issuance, training the workforce in the sector, and enhancing practices related to food safety.
On the regulatory side, the municipalities and secretariats conduct field visits to restaurants, kitchens, and food retail shops to verify compliance with health regulations, monitor food preparation, storage, and handling methods, and identify violations, taking necessary legal actions against non-compliant establishments.
The ministry has adopted portable cameras as a primary tool within the smart monitoring system, using them to document inspections and link them directly to the "Mumtathil" application, which enhances transparency and protects the rights of inspectors and establishment owners during regulatory activities.
These efforts are complemented by the ongoing coordination between municipalities, secretariats, and health and food safety-related entities, alongside comprehensive monitoring and tracking compliance levels in food establishments across various regions of Saudi Arabia.
The ministry has called on community members to report observations and violations in food establishments, emphasizing the importance of community participation in supporting regulatory efforts, swiftly addressing reports, and maintaining food safety.
