​في خطوة تجسد حرص السعودية المستمر على دعم قطاع التعليم وبناء القدرات البشرية في اليمن، ​أُختتم رسمياً مشروع «التمكين الرقمي للمعلم اليمني»، الذي نُفذ بدعم من البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، بالشراكة مع وزارة التربية والتعليم اليمنية، وبتنفيذ مركز المبدعين للدراسات والاستشارات والتدريب بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز.

​وأسفر المشروع عن تأهيل وتدريب 530 معلماً ومعلمةً وموجهاً تربوياً في محافظات عدن، وأبين، وحضرموت، والمهرة، وسقطرى، بإشراف 20 خبيراً ومدرباً، وتُوِّج بتصميم وإنتاج 43 وحدة دراسية رقمية متكاملة تُوظِّف أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي لتعزيز جودة التعليم وبناء قدرات الكوادر التعليمية في التقنيات الحديثة.

​وفي السياق ذاته، استفادت أكثر من 600 امرأة يمنية في أرخبيل سقطرى من مشروع «معمل حرفة»، الذي استهدف تنمية مهاراتهن وقدراتهن في الحرف اليدوية والخياطة لتمكينهن اقتصادياً ودعم خلق فرص عمل لهن.

​وتأتي هذه الجهود امتداداً لسلسلة من الدعم التنموي الذي تقدمه السعودية عبر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن للسكان في اليمن، متضمنةً أكثر من 300 مشروع ومبادرة تنموية لتعزيز الخدمات الأساسية ودعم التنمية المستدامة.

In a step that embodies Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to supporting the education sector and building human capacities in Yemen, the project "Digital Empowerment of the Yemeni Teacher" has officially concluded. This project was implemented with the support of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, in partnership with the Yemeni Ministry of Education, and executed by the Center for Creative Studies, Consultations, and Training at King Abdulaziz University.

The project resulted in the qualification and training of 530 male and female teachers and educational supervisors in the governorates of Aden, Abyan, Hadramaut, Al-Mahrah, and Socotra, under the supervision of 20 experts and trainers. It culminated in the design and production of 43 comprehensive digital study units that utilize artificial intelligence tools to enhance the quality of education and build the capacities of educational staff in modern technologies.

In the same context, more than 600 Yemeni women in the Socotra archipelago benefited from the "Craft Lab" project, which aimed to develop their skills and capabilities in handicrafts and sewing to economically empower them and support the creation of job opportunities for them.

These efforts are part of a series of developmental support provided by Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen to the population in Yemen, including more than 300 developmental projects and initiatives to enhance basic services and support sustainable development.
