Hisham Abdel Rasoul at Cairo ICT: “Winning Africa Partner of the Year reinforced our leadership across the continent and underscores our ability to drive digital transformation.”

Eng. Hisham Abdel Rasoul, CEO of Raya Information Technology—a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments—stated:  “Our participation this year extends Raya’s nearly three-decade journey at the forefront of digital transformation in the region. With an expanded presence across three dedicated halls for Raya Information Technology and its subsidiaries, we continue to reshape digital ecosystems through a flexible and comprehensive architecture that integrates enterprise solutions with sustainable innovation.”

He added, during a press conference held on the sidelines of the Cairo ICT exhibition and conference:  “This approach ensures clear alignment between advanced technologies and long-term institutional priorities, enabling them to serve as engines of growth and operational excellence.”

Notable Profit Growth

Abdel Rasoul highlighted the company’s performance over the first nine months of 2025, noting:  “Our financial performance reflects a significant step-change in efficiency and profitability. Revenues grew by 65.1% year-on-year, gross profit rose by 89.3%, EBITDA increased sharply by 106.4%, and net profit surged by 139.2%. These indicators reflect not only the expansion of our operations but also a fundamental improvement in operational efficiency and cost-structure management—allowing us to reinforce margins and sustain performance.”

He continued:  “This performance embodies nearly three decades of navigating shifting market cycles that reshaped the competitive landscape. Through periods of both expansion and contraction, we maintained resilience and delivered consistent growth year after year, supported by clear strategies and a highly disciplined approach to crisis management. We have addressed internal and external pressures—ranging from currency volatility to supply-chain bottlenecks and shipping constraints—without disrupting business continuity. Our clear vision and robust confidence in our strategic direction sustain our operational momentum and reinforce the trust of clients and shareholders in Raya’s ability to deliver long-term, sustainable value.”

New Strategic Partnerships

Discussing recent strategic and operational developments, Abdel Rasoul noted:

“We have recently strengthened our global alliances and expanded our services and product portfolio by signing strategic partnerships with Red Hat and IBM—two leading global players in hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence, analytics, and cybersecurity. These partnerships will accelerate our efforts and broaden our reach, while supporting our partners’ presence in the Egyptian and regional markets. They reaffirm Raya’s role as a bridge between global technologies and the evolving needs of local and regional enterprises.”

He added that the new partnerships enhance Raya’s readiness to meet the evolving demands of critical sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, energy, and government—providing institutions with greater operational agility, stronger security, and the ability to translate data into actionable value.

Cisco Africa Partner of the Year 2025

Raya’s participation in Cairo ICT follows the announcement of its recognition as Cisco’s “Africa Partner of the Year.” Abdel Rasoul commented:  “This recognition reinforces Raya’s standing in the African market and affirms our competitive edge across the continent. We have demonstrated our ability to combine hands-on expertise with advanced technical capabilities, placing us among the leading companies equipped to drive digital transformation across key regional sectors.”

He added:  “The award reflects our success in executing complex projects with high precision, converting technology into tangible business value, and upholding rigorous operational standards that translate directly into enhanced performance and innovation for our clients. It stands as a testament to our ability to build integrated digital ecosystems—including cybersecurity, unified communications, and AI-ready data centers and to deploy them rapidly and consistently across major sectors, in alignment with our longstanding strategic partnership with Cisco, which continues to strengthen our regional footprint.”

AI Business Unit to Support Egypt and Gulf, with Anticipated Expansions

Abdel Rasoul emphasized the central role of artificial intelligence in the company’s strategy, saying:  “We view AI as a strategic pillar of our digital transformation agenda—one that has the potential to redefine customer experience, enhance institutional efficiency, and convert data into meaningful operational value. Guided by this vision, through a new business unit, we are investing in intelligent platforms, scalable models, and practical solutions that support high-impact sectors such as, banking, and telecommunications, healthcare, and government.”

He explained that Raya Information Technology has expanded its digital transformation portfolio to include enterprise AI solutions, adding:

“In the coming period, we plan to broaden our digital transformation offerings to include virtual assistants, advanced analytics, automated contact-center capabilities, and scalable software models—supported by strategic partnerships that enhance our AI capabilities and strengthen our presence in this domain.”

He concluded:  “At present, we are directing our efforts toward the Egyptian and Saudi markets, with a strategic roadmap to expand into additional markets across the Middle East and North Africa. Through this direction, Raya Information Technology reaffirms its commitment to shaping a smarter digital future and positioning AI as a strategic driver for redefining customer service and enhancing business competitiveness in the region.”
