فيما أطلقت القوات اليمنية عملية عسكرية حاسمة ضد مليشيا الحوثي في باب المندب، كشفت مصادر يمنية عسكرية مطلعة، اليوم (الإثنين)، أن قوات العمالقة ودرع الوطن تتقدمان في محيط باب المندب.
وأكدت المصادر أن قوات العمالقة ودرع الوطن استعادت السيطرة على منطقة ذوباب بغطاء جوي.وأوضحت أنالقوات تخوض معارك عنيفة مع الحوثيين في ذوباب قرب باب المندب، وتقتربان من قطع خط إمداد الحوثي إلى ذوباب بشكل كامل.
وبحسب مصادر ميدانية، طلب عدد من عناصر مليشيات الحوثي الموجودين في جزيرة ميون وقطاع باب المندب الاستسلام للقوات المشتركة من العمالقة ودرع الوطن والقبائل، عقب محاصرتهم. وأعلنت مقتل العشرات من المليشيا في الساحل الغربي.
ماذا تعرف عن «ذوباب»؟
تبلغ مساحة مديرية ذوباب (المعروفة أيضاً بـ مديرية باب المندب) نحو 1,557 كيلومتراً مربعاً. وتقع في الجزء الجنوبي الغربي من محافظة تعز على شواطئ البحر الأحمر ومضيق باب المندب. و تُعرف رسمياً أو محلياً بـ مديرية باب المندب (أو ذو باب)، وتضم جزيرة ميون (بريم).
وتتميز بموقع استراتيجي عالمي لاحتوائها على مضيق باب المندب وتضم أنشطة حيوية مثل الصيد البحري والزراعة.
وأعلنت القوات اليمنية تنفيذ أكثر من ألف عملية ضد الحوثيين خلال ساعات. وقال المتحدث باسم الجيش اليمني ماجد النزيلي في بيان إن القوات نفّذت 1122 عملية استهداف دقيقة ضد مرابض المدفعية والراجمات، والتحصينات الدفاعية، وطرق الاقتراب والدفع، وخطوط ووسائل الإمداد، والتعزيزات والتحشيدات القتالية، وهيئات حاكمة، ومراكز القيادة والسيطرة التابعة لمليشيا الحوثي.
صعدة والجوف وتعز والساحل
وأكد أن تلك الاستهدافات طالت محاور مختلفة من جبهات صعدة والجوف وتعز والساحل. وأضاف أن العمليات تنوعت بين الطيران الحربي والمسيّر والمدفعية والصواريخ والراجمات والقناصة. وأشار المتحدث إلى أن تلك الاستهدافات أسفرت، وفق الحصيلة الميدانية، عن مقتل 1747 من عناصر المليشيا، وتدمير 364 آلية ومعدة ووسائل نقل وإمداد عسكرية. وشدد على أن القوات المسلحة ستواصل تنفيذ مهامها بثبات، في معركة التحرير واستعادة أراضي الدولة ومؤسساتها. وكان رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني رشاد العليمي أعلن أمس (الأحد) إطلاق عملية عسكرية لاستعادة الأراضي التي يسيطر عليها الحوثيون. وجاءت العملية بعد تصعيد الحوثيين هجماتهم الشهر الماضي على القوات اليمنية وتقدمهم نحو ساحل البحر الأحمر ومنطقة مضيق باب المندب، الممر الحيوي لحركة الشحن وناقلات النفط.
As the Yemeni forces launched a wide operation to restore the state's sovereignty and all areas under the control of the Houthi militias, informed military sources revealed today (Monday) that the Giants Forces and the National Shield are advancing around Bab al-Mandab.
The sources confirmed that the Giants Forces and the National Shield regained control over the Dhobab area with air cover. They explained that the forces are engaged in fierce battles with the Houthis in Dhobab near Bab al-Mandab, and are close to completely cutting off the Houthi supply line to Dhobab.

The area of Dhobab District (also known as Bab al-Mandab District) is approximately 1,557 square kilometers. It is located in the southwestern part of Taiz Governorate on the shores of the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. It is officially or locally known as Bab al-Mandab District (or Dhobab), and includes the island of Meun (Perim).
It is characterized by a globally strategic location due to its containing the Bab al-Mandab Strait and includes vital activities such as fishing and agriculture.
The Yemeni forces announced the execution of more than a thousand operations against the Houthis within hours. The spokesperson for the Yemeni army, Majid al-Nazili, stated in a statement that the forces carried out 1,122 precise targeting operations against artillery positions, rocket launchers, defensive fortifications, approaches and supply lines, reinforcements and combat mobilizations, governing bodies, and command and control centers belonging to the Houthi militia.
Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and the Coast
He confirmed that these targeting operations affected various fronts in Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and the coast. He added that the operations varied between warplanes, drones, artillery, rockets, launchers, and snipers. The spokesperson indicated that these targeting operations resulted, according to field reports, in the death of 1,747 militia members, and the destruction of 364 vehicles and military transport and supply means. He emphasized that the armed forces will continue to carry out their tasks steadfastly in the battle for liberation and the restoration of the state's lands and institutions. The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, announced yesterday (Sunday) the launch of a military operation to reclaim the lands controlled by the Houthis. This operation came after the Houthis escalated their attacks last month on Yemeni forces and advanced towards the Red Sea coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a vital passage for shipping and oil tankers.
