بالبلدي: جوليان : جاهزون لتحدي الأخضر.. ولا أعذار أمامنا

أكد مدرب المنتخب القطري جوليان لـ«عكاظ» جاهزية «العنابي» لمواجهة المنتخب السعودي في الدور نصف النهائي، مشدداً على أن لاعبيه يملكون دوافع كبيرة لخوض التحدي، وأن الجهاز الفني سيواصل تقييم الحالة البدنية للمجموعة حتى صباح المباراة، في ظل ضغط المباريات وقصر فترة الاستشفاء.

وقال جوليان لـ«عكاظ»، رداً على سؤال حول الجاهزية والاستعداد للمواجهة: «تركيزنا ينصب على استعادة جاهزية اللاعبين في أسرع وقت ممكن. لدينا دافع وطاقة كبيران، واللاعبون يعملون ليكونوا في أفضل حالة ممكنة لخوض هذا التحدي».

وأضاف: «سنواصل متابعة اللاعبين حتى صباح المباراة لاتخاذ القرارات النهائية، لأن علينا تقييم حالة كل لاعب بصورة دقيقة ومعرفة من سيكون في أفضل وضع بدني للمشاركة».

وعن مشوار المنتخب القطري في البطولة، قال: «حققنا سبع نقاط، وكنا منتخباً ثابتاً في مستواه وقادراً على المنافسة بصورة جيدة، وصنعنا العديد من الفرص أمام منتخبات قوية. أعتقد أننا قدمنا بطولة جيدة، ولهذا نحن موجودون في هذه المرحلة».

وأضاف: «مررنا بمراحل ومباريات صعبة، ونجحنا في تجاوزها، وأعتقد أننا نافسنا بصورة جيدة. والآن وصلنا إلى الخطوة الأخيرة التي تمنحنا فرصة اللعب في النهائي».

وشدد جوليان على أن تماسك المنتخب القطري يمثل أحد أهم عناصر قوته، قائلاً: «الفريق أثبت أنه متماسك، وأننا مجموعة واحدة، وعلينا أن نواصل بهذه الصورة. التركيز الآن على المحافظة على هذا التماسك لأن متطلبات مباراة الغد ستكون عالية جداً في ظل قوة المنافس الذي سنواجهه».

وتابع: «نحتاج إلى دافع كبير وصلابة عالية حتى نتجاوز جميع الصعوبات التي نواجهها، ومنها امتلاك يوم أقل للاستشفاء. هذا أمر مهم، خصوصاً أن خوض أربع مباريات خلال نحو تسعة أيام يمثل عبئاً بدنياً كبيراً على اللاعبين».

وأضاف: «رغم ذلك، نحن سعداء بخوض هذا التحدي. ندرك أننا نملك يوماً أقل للاستشفاء، لكننا في الوقت نفسه نؤمن بأننا سنكون جاهزين للمنافسة في المباراة، ولن نستخدم هذا الأمر عذراً».

ورفض مدرب قطر التفكير في أي مرحلة تتجاوز مواجهة السعودية، قائلاً: «لا نفكر في خطوة أبعد من المباراة التي تنتظرنا. نحن في نصف النهائي، وهذا أمر مهم بحد ذاته، وتركيزنا بالكامل على ما يجب أن نقدمه في الملعب».

وأضاف: «استحققنا حق الوجود في نصف النهائي، وهناك العديد من المنتخبات التي لم تحصل على هذه الفرصة. الآن علينا أن نضع ما حدث في الماضي جانباً ونركز على تقديم مباراة كبيرة ومحاولة اتخاذ خطوة أخرى».

وعن المنتخب السعودي، قال جوليان: «نعرف أننا سنواجه أحد أقوى منتخبات البطولة، وهو منتخب جيد جداً بدنياً وفنياً وتكتيكياً، وسيدفعنا إلى أقصى حدودنا، إضافة إلى أنه يلعب على أرضه وبين جماهيره».

وتابع: «علينا أن نكون جاهزين لهذا التحدي الكبير. نحب التحديات، واستحققنا فرصة خوض هذه المباراة، ونحن هنا لمواجهتها وتقديم كل ما لدينا».

وأكد أن الإصابات وضغط المباريات لن تكون مبرراً، قائلاً: «علينا أن نضع المشكلات والإصابات وفارق يوم الاستشفاء جانباً، وألا نستخدم أياً منها عذراً. الأهم أن نقدم أفضل ما لدينا. أبحث عن القوة الموجودة في قلوب لاعبي فريقي، فهم يملكون قلباً كبيراً ولدينا مجموعة قوية ومتماسكة».

وعن الحضور الجماهيري المتوقع، قال: «نتفق جميعاً، جهازاً فنياً ولاعبين، على أن الملعب يجب أن يكون ممتلئاً وأن تعيش المباراة مثل هذه الأجواء والشغف. نتوقع حضوراً جماهيرياً كبيراً، ربما يصل إلى نحو 55 ألف متفرج، وسيكون الدعم للمنتخب السعودي، لكن ذلك لا يمثل ضغطاً علينا، بل حافزاً إضافياً».

وأضاف: «صحيح أننا نملك يوماً أقل للاستشفاء، لكننا لن نتخذ ذلك عذراً. علينا استعادة اللاعبين وتجهيزهم، وأن ندخل كفريق واحد، وأن ندافع ونهاجم بصورة جيدة».

واختتم جوليان حديثه قائلاً: «لدينا دافع كبير، وعلينا أن نكون في غاية الصلابة لتجاوز كل الظروف. قدمنا بطولة جيدة واستحققنا الوصول إلى هذه المرحلة، والآن أمامنا فرصة المنافسة على بلوغ النهائي، وسنبذل أقصى ما لدينا».

Qatar national team coach Julian confirmed to "Okaz" the readiness of "Al Annabi" to face the Saudi national team in the semi-finals, emphasizing that his players have strong motivations to take on the challenge, and that the coaching staff will continue to assess the physical condition of the group until the morning of the match, given the pressure of matches and the short recovery period.

Julian said to "Okaz," in response to a question about readiness and preparation for the match: "Our focus is on restoring the players' readiness as quickly as possible. We have a great drive and energy, and the players are working to be in the best possible shape to take on this challenge."

He added: "We will continue to monitor the players until the morning of the match to make final decisions, as we need to evaluate each player's condition accurately and know who will be in the best physical condition to participate."

Regarding the Qatari team's journey in the tournament, he said: "We achieved seven points, and we were a consistent team in our performance and capable of competing well, creating many opportunities against strong teams. I believe we have had a good tournament, and that’s why we are here at this stage."

He added: "We went through difficult phases and matches, and we succeeded in overcoming them, and I believe we competed well. Now we have reached the final step that gives us the opportunity to play in the final."

Julian emphasized that the cohesion of the Qatari team represents one of its most important strengths, saying: "The team has proven to be cohesive, and that we are one group, and we must continue in this manner. The focus now is on maintaining this cohesion because the demands of tomorrow's match will be very high given the strength of the opponent we will face."

He continued: "We need a strong drive and high resilience to overcome all the difficulties we face, including having one less day for recovery. This is important, especially since playing four matches over about nine days represents a significant physical burden on the players."

He added: "Despite that, we are happy to take on this challenge. We realize that we have one less day for recovery, but at the same time, we believe that we will be ready to compete in the match, and we will not use this as an excuse."

Julian refused to think about any stage beyond facing Saudi Arabia, saying: "We do not think about a step beyond the match that awaits us. We are in the semi-finals, and that is important in itself, and our focus is entirely on what we need to present on the field."

He added: "We have earned our place in the semi-finals, and there are many teams that did not get this opportunity. Now we need to put what happened in the past aside and focus on delivering a great match and trying to take another step."

Regarding the Saudi national team, Julian said: "We know we will face one of the strongest teams in the tournament, which is a very good team physically, technically, and tactically, and it will push us to our limits, especially since they are playing at home and among their fans."

He continued: "We need to be ready for this big challenge. We love challenges, and we have earned the opportunity to play this match, and we are here to face it and give our all."

He confirmed that injuries and the pressure of matches will not be an excuse, saying: "We need to put aside the problems, injuries, and the one-day recovery difference, and not use any of them as an excuse. The most important thing is to give our best. I am looking for the strength that exists in the hearts of my players; they have big hearts, and we have a strong and cohesive group."

Regarding the expected fan attendance, he said: "We all agree, coaching staff and players, that the stadium should be full and that the match should be experienced in such an atmosphere and passion. We expect a large crowd, perhaps around 55,000 spectators, and the support will be for the Saudi team, but that does not represent pressure on us; rather, it is an additional motivation."

He added: "It is true that we have one less day for recovery, but we will not take that as an excuse. We need to recover the players and prepare them, and we must enter as one team, defending and attacking well."

Julian concluded his remarks by saying: "We have a great drive, and we need to be extremely resilient to overcome all circumstances. We have had a good tournament and earned our place in this stage, and now we have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the final, and we will give our utmost."
