أكد رئيس مجلس الوزراء اليمني الدكتور شائع محسن الزنداني، أن ما حدث في الساحل الغربي وباب المندب يعد تطوراً ميدانياً بالغ الخطورة، ولا يمكن قراءته بمعزل عن الدعم الإيراني المنهجي لمليشيا الحوثي، الذي أسهم في تطوير قدراتها العسكرية وتحويل الأراضي اليمنية إلى منصة لتهديد أمن اليمن والمنطقة والملاحة الدولية. وقال، في حوار أجرته معه «عكاظ»، إن القوات المسلحة والتشكيلات العسكرية والقوى الوطنية لم تفقد إرادتها ولا قدرتها على مواصلة المعركة، مشيراً إلى أن العمل يجري حالياً على تقييم التطورات الميدانية، وإعادة تنظيم الانتشار، ورفع مستوى الجاهزية والتنسيق، والاستفادة من الدروس التي أفرزتها المواجهات الأخيرة. وأضاف بأن المسؤولية تقتضي «ألا نقلل من حجم التهديد، ومع ذلك نؤكد أن القيادة العسكرية تتعامل مع مختلف الجبهات باعتبارها منظومة واحدة، وأن رفع الجاهزية والاستعداد لمختلف الاحتمالات يمثلان أولوية مستمرة». وثمن عالياً الدعم الثابت والمواقف الأخوية للمملكة العربية السعودية، بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، ووزير الدفاع، إلى جانب اليمن وشرعيته ومؤسساته، واعتبره دعم يعكس عمق الموقف السعودي تجاه أمن اليمن واستقراره وسيادته. وتطرق رئيس مجلس الوزراء اليمني إلى عدد من المواضيع المهمة، فإلى نص الحوار:
• كيف تنظرون إلى سيطرة الحوثيين المفاجئة على المخا وباب المندب؟
•• ما حدث في الساحل الغربي وباب المندب تطور ميداني بالغ الخطورة، ولا يمكن قراءته بمعزل عن الدعم الإيراني المنهجي لمليشيا الحوثي، الذي أسهم في تطوير قدراتها العسكرية وتحويل الأراضي اليمنية إلى منصة لتهديد أمن اليمن والمنطقة والملاحة الدولية. ولذلك لا نتعامل مع هذه التطورات بمنطق ردود الفعل، وإنما باعتبارها تحدياً وطنياً وإقليمياً ودولياً يمس سيادة اليمن ومصالحه، كما يمس أحد أهم الممرات البحرية في العالم. وفي الوقت ذاته، فإن التطورات الميدانية، مهما كانت قاسية، لا تعني نهاية المعركة ولا تغيير هدفها.. الدولة اليمنية ومؤسساتها وقواتها المسلحة والقوى الوطنية تدرك طبيعة المرحلة، وتعمل على إعادة ترتيب الصفوف وتعزيز الجاهزية واستعادة هذه المواقع وكل شبر على التراب الوطني. نحن أمام معركة وطنية لاستعادة سلطة الدولة وسيادتها على كامل التراب الوطني، وهذه معركة لا تُقاس بجولة واحدة أو بتغير ميداني مهما كانت صعوبته.
والرسالة التي ينبغي أن تصل إلى الجميع، هي أن أمن البحر الأحمر وباب المندب لا يمكن فصله عن استعادة سلطة الدولة اليمنية وإنهاء الانقلاب الحوثي وتجفيف مصادر الدعم الخارجي الذي يغذي قدراته العسكرية.
التنسيق ورفع مستوى الجاهزية
• هل لا تزال القوات اليمنية قادرة على استعادة هذه المواقع الحيوية، وكيف؟
•• القوات المسلحة والتشكيلات العسكرية والقوى الوطنية لم تفقد إرادتها ولا قدرتها على مواصلة المعركة. ما نعمل عليه الآن هو تقييم التطورات الميدانية، وإعادة تنظيم الانتشار، ورفع مستوى الجاهزية والتنسيق، والاستفادة من الدروس التي أفرزتها المواجهات الأخيرة. استعادة هذه المواقع لها متطلباتها العسكرية والسياسية واللوجستية، والحكومة، بالتنسيق مع مجلس القيادة الرئاسي والأشقاء في تحالف دعم الشرعية بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية، تعمل على توفير هذه المتطلبات ودعم القوات المرابطة في مختلف الجبهات. ونقول لأبناء شعبنا وللعالم: المواقع التي فقدناها سيتم استعادتها، والمعركة لم تنتهِ. لدينا رجال يقاتلون دفاعاً عن دولتهم وشعبهم، ولدينا إرادة وطنية، ولدينا أشقاء وحلفاء يقفون إلى جانب اليمن، وسنواصل العمل لاستعادة كل شبر من أراضي الجمهورية اليمنية. ونثمّن عالياً الدعم الثابت والمواقف الأخوية للمملكة العربية السعودية، بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، ووزير الدفاع، إلى جانب اليمن وشرعيته ومؤسساته، وهو دعم يعكس عمق الموقف السعودي تجاه أمن اليمن واستقراره وسيادته، ويمثل رافداً مهماً لقدرة اليمنيين على تجاوز هذه المرحلة.
• ألا تخشون من حدوث اختراقات حوثية في بعض الجبهات؟
•• المسؤولية تقتضي ألا نقلل من حجم التهديد، لكن ما نستطيع تأكيده أن القيادة العسكرية تتعامل مع مختلف الجبهات باعتبارها منظومة واحدة، وأن رفع الجاهزية والاستعداد لمختلف الاحتمالات يمثلان أولوية مستمرة وهناك متابعة ميدانية وتقييم متواصل لمستوى الجاهزية والانتشار، وتعزيز للتنسيق بين القوات المسلحة والتشكيلات العسكرية والأجهزة الأمنية والسلطات المحلية، وما حدث في جبهة لا يعني أن بقية الجبهات ليست بمستوى عالٍ من الجاهزية.
نتعامل مع خصم يملك دعماً خارجياً ويستخدم أساليب متعددة، ولذلك فإن اليقظة المستمرة، ووحدة القرار، وسرعة التنسيق، وتماسك الجبهة الداخلية، هي عناصر أساسية لحماية المناطق المحررة وأمن المواطنين.
• تبقى عملية النزوح مقلقة لكم وللتحالف وللمجتمع الدولي.. كيف تتعاملون مع هذه القضية من أجل مساعدتهم في مواجهة ظروفهم الصعبة؟
•• النزوح بالنسبة لنا مأساة إنسانية، يعيشها مواطنون يمنيون اضطروا إلى ترك منازلهم بسبب العنف والانتهاكات الحوثية. ولذلك تعاملت الحكومة مع موجات النزوح الأخيرة باعتبارها مسؤولية وطنية وإنسانية وأمنية متكاملة. وجهنا السلطات المحلية والجهات الحكومية إلى رفع مستوى التنسيق في استقبال النازحين وتأمين احتياجاتهم الأساسية، مع الحفاظ في الوقت نفسه على أمن واستقرار المجتمعات المضيفة. ولدينا وحدة تنفيذية للنازحين تابعة لمجلس الوزراء، وكلفنا أيضا وزير دولة بملف النازحين، وذلك حتى يتم تنسيق الجهود الحكومية والمجتمعية والأممية والدولية لتلبية احتياجات النازحين، وبالشراكة مع السلطات المحلية المعنية.
كما نعمل مع الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية والشركاء الإقليميين والدوليين لتوسيع الاستجابة الإنسانية وتوفير الغذاء والمأوى والرعاية الصحية والخدمات الأساسية، ونثمّن عالياً الدور السعودي في هذا الجانب، ونتطلع إلى استجابة دولية تتناسب مع حجم الاحتياجات المتزايدة. ومعالجة النزوح لا تكون فقط بتوفير الخيام والمساعدات، وإنما بوقف الأسباب التي تنتج النزوح، وفي مقدمتها العدوان الحوثي على المدنيين ومخيمات النازحين.
• كيف تنظرون إلى التعاطي الدولي مع سيطرة الحوثيين على باب المندب؟
•• المجتمع الدولي أمام اختبار حقيقي لمدى جديته في حماية الأمن البحري وحرية الملاحة الدولية. باب المندب ليس قضية يمنية داخلية، وإنما ممر دولي إستراتيجي، وأي تهديد له ينعكس على حركة التجارة والطاقة وسلاسل الإمداد العالمية. ونحن نقدر عالياً المواقف الدولية التي عبّرت عن إدراك واضح لخطورة التطورات في باب المندب، وخطورة أن تضع مليشيا الحوثي، بما تتلقاه من دعم إيراني ممنهج، يدها على هذا الممر الحيوي وتحوله إلى مصدر تهديد للأمن الإقليمي والدولي. كما نثمّن تأكيد الدول الشقيقة والصديقة والأمم المتحدة ومجلس الأمن والشركاء الدوليين دعمهم للحكومة اليمنية ومؤسسات الدولة، وندعو إلى البناء على هذه المواقف وتحويلها إلى خطوات عملية أكثر فاعلية.
لقد حذرت الحكومة اليمنية مراراً من أن ترك الحوثيين يطورون قدراتهم العسكرية ويستخدمون الموقع الجغرافي لليمن كمنصة لتهديد الملاحة سيقود إلى تداعيات تتجاوز اليمن والمنطقة. ولا يمكن للمجتمع الدولي أن يقبل بتحويل باب المندب إلى ورقة ابتزاز أو أن تصبح الأراضي اليمنية منصة تستخدمها إيران ووكلاؤها لتهديد أمن المنطقة والاقتصاد العالمي. المطلوب اليوم ليس الاكتفاء ببيانات الإدانة، وإنما موقف دولي أكثر وضوحاً ومسؤولية، يربط حماية الملاحة الدولية بدعم الدولة اليمنية وسيادتها، وإنهاء مصادر تمويل وتسليح المليشيا.
موقف دولي في مواجهة إيران
• ما المطلوب من المجتمع الدولي لمواجهة العربدة الحوثية في البحر الأحمر؟
•• المطلوب موقف دولي حازم في مواجهة منظومة الدعم الإيراني، التي مكنت الحوثيين من امتلاك قدرات تهدد الملاحة والأمن الإقليمي. لا يكفي أن ندين الهجمات بعد وقوعها؛ المطلوب تجفيف مصادر التمويل والتسليح، وتشديد الرقابة على عمليات نقل الأسلحة والتكنولوجيا العسكرية، ومحاسبة الجهات التي توفر للحوثيين وسائل الاستمرار في هذا التصعيد. كما أن دعم الدولة اليمنية ومؤسساتها وقواتها المسلحة يمثل جزءاً أساسياً من أي استراتيجية جادة لحماية البحر الأحمر وباب المندب، لا يمكن أن نطلب من اليمن حماية أحد أهم الممرات البحرية في العالم، ثم نترك الدولة اليمنية أمام جماعة مسلحة تتلقى دعماً خارجياً.
والخطر لم يعد محصوراً داخل الحدود اليمنية، فقد استهدف الحوثيون السفن والملاحة الدولية، كما نفذوا هجمات متكررة على الأعيان المدنية والمنشآت الحيوية والاقتصادية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وصولاً إلى محاولة استهداف العاصمة المقدسة مكة المكرمة للمرة الثانية، في تصعيد بالغ الخطورة يمس مشاعر المسلمين ويكشف اتساع نطاق التهديد. هذه الممارسات تؤكد أن الحوثيين لا يتحركون بمعزل عن مشروع إقليمي، وإنما كأداة ضمن منظومة دعم إيرانية أوسع لزعزعة أمن المنطقة. ومن هنا فإن وقوف اليمن مع المملكة في حماية أمنها وأراضيها ومقدساتها موقف أخوي ووطني وأمني ثابت؛ فأمن المملكة واستقرارها جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن اليمن والمنطقة.
• كيف وجدتم تفاعل المواطن اليمني مع تضحيات أبطال القوات المسلحة؟
•• المواطن اليمني أثبت في هذه الظروف أن المعركة بالنسبة إليه ليست معركة جيش وحده، وإنما معركة وطن ودولة ومستقبل. وما لمسناه من تماسك شعبي واحتضان للمقاتلين، إلى جانب المبادرات المجتمعية واستقبال الأسر النازحة، يمثل رصيداً وطنياً بالغ الأهمية. ونحن ننحني إجلالاً أمام تضحيات الشهداء، ونقدر شجاعة الجرحى والمقاتلين في مختلف الجبهات، كما نقدر الدور الذي تقوم به السلطات المحلية والمجتمعات المضيفة في احتضان النازحين وتخفيف آثار هذه الظروف. هذه الروح الوطنية هي أحد أهم مصادر قوتنا، وهي ما يمنحنا الثقة بأن اليمن، رغم قسوة المرحلة، قادر على تجاوزها حتى تحقيق الانتصار على هذا المشروع الانقلابي الطائفي الدخيل على المجتمع اليمني.
• عسكرياً.. ماذا تتوقعون في المرحلة القادمة؟
•• نحن أمام مرحلة جديدة من العمل العسكري عنوانها تعزيز الجاهزية وتكامل الجهود في مختلف الجبهات. وبقدر ما فرضت التطورات الأخيرة تحديات ميدانية، فإنها لم توقف إرادة قواتنا المسلحة والتشكيلات العسكرية والأبطال الميامين، الذين يواصلون أداء واجبهم الوطني بثبات واقتدار، ويتقدمون في عدد من الجبهات الأخرى، ويثبتون كل يوم أن المعركة لم تتوقف وسننتصر فيها مهما كانت صعوبة الظروف. القوات المسلحة والتشكيلات العسكرية والقوى الوطنية تعمل على ترتيب صفوفها وتعزز قدراتها وتوحد جهودها، والمرحلة المقبلة ستشهد استمرار هذا المسار وفق ما تقتضيه المعطيات الميدانية.
ولن ندخل في تفاصيل العمليات العسكرية، فهذا شأن تتولاه القيادة العسكرية، لكن ما أستطيع تأكيده أن لدينا رجالاً في الميدان يمتلكون الإرادة والشجاعة والخبرة، ويقاتلون دفاعاً عن وطنهم ودولتهم ومستقبل أبنائهم. ونؤكد أن ما جرى في بعض الجبهات، والتي سيتم استعادتها لا ينبغي أن يحجب الصورة الكاملة للمعركة، فهناك أبطال يتقدمون ويحققون نتائج مهمة في جبهات أخرى، وهناك إرادة وطنية صلبة لم تنكسر. نحن نعمل على تحويل هذه المرحلة إلى نقطة انطلاق، وتعزيز وحدة القرار والقدرة القتالية وترابط الجبهات، والمضي بثبات نحو هدفنا الوطني: استعادة الدولة اليمنية وسلطتها وسيادتها على كامل أراضيها.
• ما هي كلمتكم للمواطن اليمني؟
•• نقول لأبناء شعبنا، هذه بلادكم، وهذه معركتكم من أجل الدولة والحرية والكرامة والمستقبل، لا تسمحوا للظروف الصعبة أن تنال من ثقتكم بوطنكم أو من يقينكم بأن اليمن قادر على تجاوز هذه المرحلة واستعادة عافيته ومؤسساته وسيادته.
المعركة الوطنية مستمرة، وأبطال القوات المسلحة والتشكيلات العسكرية والقوى الوطنية يواصلون أداء واجبهم في مختلف الجبهات، ويقدمون كل يوم صوراً مشرفة في الصمود والتقدم والتضحية دفاعاً عن اليمن وأمنه ومستقبله. وما يتحقق في الميدان يؤكد أن إرادة اليمنيين أقوى من محاولات كسرها، وأن مشروع الدولة لا يمكن أن يتراجع أمام مشروع الانقلاب. نحن في الحكومة نتحمل مسؤوليتنا، وسنواصل العمل في الميدان، وفي السياسة والدبلوماسية والاقتصاد والإغاثة، ولن نتخلى عن واجبنا تجاه المواطن أو القوات المسلحة والأبطال في الجبهات وأسر الشهداء والجرحى والنازحين. ونقول لأبطال القوات المسلحة والمرابطين في الجبهات والقوى الوطنية: تضحياتكم محل تقدير كل يمني، ولن تذهب هدراً. نعم، هذه مرحلة صعبة، لكنها ليست نهاية الطريق، وسنمضي بثبات حتى تستعيد الدولة اليمنية كامل سلطتها وسيادتها ومؤسساتها، وسيبقى الأمل أقوى من المحنة، واليمن أقوى من الانقلاب.
The Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Sha'if Mohsen Al-Zandani confirmed that what happened on the western coast and Bab al-Mandab is a highly dangerous field development, and it cannot be read in isolation from the systematic Iranian support for the Houthi militia, which has contributed to the development of its military capabilities and turned Yemeni territories into a platform to threaten the security of Yemen, the region, and international navigation. In an interview with "Okaz," he stated that the armed forces, military formations, and national forces have not lost their will or ability to continue the battle, pointing out that work is currently underway to assess the field developments, reorganize deployments, raise the level of readiness and coordination, and benefit from the lessons learned from recent confrontations. He added that the responsibility requires "not to underestimate the size of the threat, yet we affirm that the military leadership is dealing with various fronts as a single system, and that raising readiness and preparedness for various possibilities represents a continuous priority." He highly appreciated the steadfast support and fraternal positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Defense, alongside Yemen and its legitimacy and institutions, considering it support that reflects the depth of the Saudi position towards the security, stability, and sovereignty of Yemen. • How do you view the Houthis' sudden control over Al-Mokha and Bab al-Mandab?
•• What happened on the western coast and Bab al-Mandab is a highly dangerous field development, and it cannot be read in isolation from the systematic Iranian support for the Houthi militia, which has contributed to the development of its military capabilities and turned Yemeni territories into a platform to threaten the security of Yemen, the region, and international navigation. Therefore, we do not deal with these developments in a reactive manner, but rather as a national, regional, and international challenge that affects Yemen's sovereignty and interests, as well as one of the most important maritime passages in the world. At the same time, no matter how harsh the field developments are, they do not mean the end of the battle or a change in its goal... The Yemeni state and its institutions, armed forces, and national forces are aware of the nature of the stage and are working to reorganize their ranks, enhance readiness, and regain these positions and every inch of national soil. We are facing a national battle to restore the authority of the state and its sovereignty over all national territory, and this battle cannot be measured by a single round or by any field change, no matter how difficult it is.
The message that should reach everyone is that the security of the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab cannot be separated from restoring the authority of the Yemeni state, ending the Houthi coup, and drying up the sources of external support that feed its military capabilities.
Coordination and Raising Readiness Levels
• Are the Yemeni forces still capable of regaining these vital locations, and how?
•• The armed forces, military formations, and national forces have not lost their will or ability to continue the battle. What we are currently working on is assessing the field developments, reorganizing deployments, raising the level of readiness and coordination, and benefiting from the lessons learned from recent confrontations. Regaining these positions has its military, political, and logistical requirements, and the government, in coordination with the Presidential Leadership Council and the brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is working to provide these requirements and support the forces stationed on various fronts. We tell our people and the world: the positions we have lost will be regained, and the battle is not over. We have men fighting in defense of their state and people, we have a national will, and we have brothers and allies standing by Yemen, and we will continue to work to regain every inch of the territory of the Republic of Yemen. We highly appreciate the steadfast support and fraternal positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Defense, alongside Yemen and its legitimacy and institutions, which reflects the depth of the Saudi position towards the security, stability, and sovereignty of Yemen, and represents an important source of support for the Yemenis to overcome this stage.
• Are you not afraid of Houthi breaches in some fronts?
•• Responsibility requires that we do not underestimate the size of the threat, but what we can confirm is that the military leadership is dealing with various fronts as a single system, and that raising readiness and preparedness for various possibilities represents a continuous priority, and there is ongoing field monitoring and continuous assessment of the level of readiness and deployment, and enhancement of coordination between the armed forces, military formations, security agencies, and local authorities. What happened on one front does not mean that the other fronts are not at a high level of readiness.
We are dealing with an adversary that has external support and uses multiple methods, and therefore continuous vigilance, unity of decision, rapid coordination, and cohesion of the internal front are essential elements to protect the liberated areas and the security of citizens.
• The issue of displacement remains concerning for you, the coalition, and the international community... How are you addressing this issue to assist them in facing their difficult circumstances?
•• Displacement for us is a humanitarian tragedy experienced by Yemeni citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to violence and Houthi violations. Therefore, the government has dealt with the recent waves of displacement as a comprehensive national, humanitarian, and security responsibility. We directed local authorities and government agencies to raise the level of coordination in receiving the displaced and securing their basic needs, while at the same time maintaining the security and stability of the host communities. We have an executive unit for the displaced under the Council of Ministers, and we have also assigned a Minister of State for the file of the displaced, so that government, community, and international efforts can be coordinated to meet the needs of the displaced, in partnership with the relevant local authorities.
We are also working with the United Nations, international organizations, and regional and international partners to expand humanitarian response and provide food, shelter, healthcare, and basic services, and we highly appreciate the Saudi role in this regard, and we look forward to an international response that matches the increasing needs. Addressing displacement is not only about providing tents and aid, but also about stopping the causes that lead to displacement, foremost among them the Houthi aggression against civilians and displacement camps.
• How do you view the international response to the Houthis' control over Bab al-Mandab?
•• The international community is facing a real test of its seriousness in protecting maritime security and freedom of international navigation. Bab al-Mandab is not merely an internal Yemeni issue, but a strategic international passage, and any threat to it reflects on trade, energy movement, and global supply chains. We highly appreciate the international positions that have expressed a clear awareness of the seriousness of developments in Bab al-Mandab, and the danger of the Houthi militia, with its systematic Iranian support, taking control of this vital passage and turning it into a source of threat to regional and international security. We also appreciate the confirmation of brotherly and friendly countries, the United Nations, the Security Council, and international partners of their support for the Yemeni government and state institutions, and we call for building on these positions and transforming them into more effective practical steps.
The Yemeni government has repeatedly warned that allowing the Houthis to develop their military capabilities and use Yemen's geographical location as a platform to threaten navigation will lead to repercussions that extend beyond Yemen and the region. The international community cannot accept turning Bab al-Mandab into a bargaining chip or allowing Yemeni territories to be used by Iran and its proxies to threaten the security of the region and the global economy. What is required today is not just statements of condemnation, but a clearer and more responsible international stance that links the protection of international navigation to supporting the Yemeni state and its sovereignty, and ending the sources of funding and arming the militia.
International Stance Against Iran
• What is required from the international community to confront the Houthi aggression in the Red Sea?
•• A firm international stance is required to confront the Iranian support system that has enabled the Houthis to possess capabilities that threaten navigation and regional security. It is not enough to condemn attacks after they occur; what is needed is to dry up sources of funding and arming, tighten control over arms transfers and military technology, and hold accountable those who provide the Houthis with means to continue this escalation. Additionally, supporting the Yemeni state, its institutions, and its armed forces is an essential part of any serious strategy to protect the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab; we cannot ask Yemen to protect one of the most important maritime passages in the world, and then leave the Yemeni state facing an armed group that receives external support.
The danger is no longer confined within Yemeni borders; the Houthis have targeted ships and international navigation, and they have carried out repeated attacks on civilian targets and vital economic facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, culminating in attempts to target the holy capital, Mecca, for the second time, in a highly dangerous escalation that touches the feelings of Muslims and reveals the widening scope of the threat. These practices confirm that the Houthis are not acting in isolation from a regional project, but rather as a tool within a broader Iranian support system aimed at destabilizing the security of the region. Therefore, Yemen's standing with the Kingdom in protecting its security, land, and sanctities is a steadfast fraternal, national, and security position; the security and stability of the Kingdom are an integral part of the security of Yemen and the region.
• How have you found the Yemeni citizen's response to the sacrifices of the armed forces' heroes?
•• The Yemeni citizen has proven in these circumstances that the battle for him is not just a battle of an army alone, but a battle for the homeland, the state, and the future. What we have witnessed in terms of popular cohesion and support for the fighters, along with community initiatives and the reception of displaced families, represents a highly significant national asset. We bow in reverence to the sacrifices of the martyrs, and we appreciate the courage of the wounded and fighters on various fronts, as well as the role played by local authorities and host communities in embracing the displaced and alleviating the impacts of these circumstances. This national spirit is one of our most important sources of strength, and it gives us confidence that Yemen, despite the harshness of the stage, is capable of overcoming it until achieving victory over this foreign sectarian coup project.
• Militarily, what do you expect in the coming phase?
•• We are facing a new phase of military action, characterized by enhancing readiness and integrating efforts across various fronts. As much as recent developments have imposed field challenges, they have not stopped the will of our armed forces, military formations, and brave heroes, who continue to perform their national duty with steadfastness and competence, advancing on several other fronts, and proving every day that the battle has not stopped and we will win it no matter how difficult the circumstances. The armed forces, military formations, and national forces are working to organize their ranks, enhance their capabilities, and unify their efforts, and the next phase will witness the continuation of this path according to what the field data require.
We will not delve into the details of military operations, as this is a matter handled by the military leadership, but what I can confirm is that we have men in the field who possess the will, courage, and experience, and are fighting in defense of their homeland, state, and the future of their children. We affirm that what has happened on some fronts, which will be regained, should not obscure the complete picture of the battle, as there are heroes advancing and achieving significant results on other fronts, and there is a solid national will that has not been broken. We are working to turn this phase into a starting point, enhancing unity of decision, combat capability, and interconnectedness of the fronts, and moving steadily towards our national goal: restoring the Yemeni state and its authority and sovereignty over all its territories.
• What is your message to the Yemeni citizen?
•• We say to our people, this is your country, and this is your battle for the state, freedom, dignity, and the future; do not let the difficult circumstances diminish your confidence in your homeland or your certainty that Yemen is capable of overcoming this stage and restoring its health, institutions, and sovereignty.
The national battle continues, and the heroes of the armed forces, military formations, and national forces continue to perform their duty on various fronts, presenting every day honorable images of steadfastness, progress, and sacrifice in defense of Yemen and its security and future. What is being achieved on the ground confirms that the will of Yemenis is stronger than attempts to break it, and that the project of the state cannot retreat in the face of the coup project. We in the government bear our responsibility, and we will continue to work in the field, in politics, diplomacy, economy, and relief, and we will not abandon our duty towards the citizen or the armed forces and the heroes on the fronts and the families of martyrs, the wounded, and the displaced. And we say to the heroes of the armed forces and those stationed on the fronts and the national forces: Your sacrifices are appreciated by every Yemeni, and they will not go in vain. Yes, this is a difficult phase, but it is not the end of the road, and we will move steadily until the Yemeni state regains its full authority, sovereignty, and institutions, and hope will remain stronger than adversity, and Yemen will be stronger than the coup.
