أعلنت وزارة الدفاع، أن القوات المسلحة السعودية، بالتنسيق مع القيادة المركزية الوسطى الأمريكية، نفذت، أمس (الأربعاء)، ضربات نوعية محددة ضد أهداف تابعة لمليشيات إرهابية متواجدة في أراضي جمهورية العراق، مرتبطة بالاستهدافات التي تعرضت لها المنشآت البترولية في المملكة.

وأوضح المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، أنه إلحاقاً للبيانين الصادرين من وزارة الدفاع يومي (الإثنين) 13 صفر 1448هـ الموافق 27 يوليو 2026م، و(الثلاثاء) 14 صفر 1448هـ الموافق 28 يوليو 2026م، بشأن اعتراض وتدمير الدفاعات الجوية السعودية عدداً من الطائرات المسيّرة التي حاولت استهداف منشآت بترولية في منطقتي الشرقية والرياض، فقد نفذت القوات المسلحة السعودية ضربات محددة ضد أهداف تابعة للمليشيات المرتبطة بتلك الاعتداءات.

وأكد اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، أن هذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية انطلقت من الأراضي العراقية ونفذتها مليشيات إرهابية موالية لإيران، مشيراً إلى ما تم التأكيد عليه من حق المملكة الأصيل في الدفاع عن نفسها ومقدراتها، واحتفاظها بحق الرد في الوقت والمكان المناسبين.

وأضاف، أن هذه الضربات جاءت مصداقاً لقوله تعالى: ﴿فَمَنِ اعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُوا عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ﴾، وانطلاقاً من حق الدفاع عن النفس الذي يكفله القانون الدولي وفق المادة (51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة.

وأكدت المملكة، أن الضربات استهدفت أهدافاً محددة للمليشيات المرتبطة بالهجمات على المنشآت البترولية، وأنها لا تسعى إلى التصعيد، إلا أنها سترد على أي عدوان تتعرض له، بما يحفظ أمنها وسيادتها ويحمي مواطنيها ومقدراتها.

الخارجية: حماية الأمن والمقدرات

من جانبها، أوضحت وزارة الخارجية، أن الضربات التي شنتها القوات المسلحة السعودية بالتنسيق مع القيادة المركزية الوسطى الأمريكية، أمس (الأربعاء)، جاءت رداً على أهداف محددة في أراضي جمهورية العراق مرتبطة بالاستهدافات التي طالت المنشآت البترولية في المملكة.

وبيّنت الوزارة، أن هذا النهج العدواني من المليشيات الإرهابية الموالية لإيران جاء في وقت كانت فيه المملكة تبذل جهوداً للمساهمة في إنهاء التصعيد في المنطقة بما يحفظ أمنها واستقرارها، إلا أن تلك المليشيات اختارت النهج التصعيدي غير المسؤول، وانتهاك القانون الدولي، وتجاهل مبادئ حسن الجوار. وجددت المملكة تأكيدها، أنها لا تسعى إلى التصعيد، لكنها لن تتوانى عن اتخاذ كل ما يلزم من إجراءات للحفاظ على سيادتها وحماية مواطنيها ومقدراتها.

The Ministry of Defense announced that the Saudi armed forces, in coordination with the U.S. Central Command, carried out specific targeted strikes yesterday (Wednesday) against terrorist militia targets located in the territory of the Republic of Iraq, linked to the attacks on oil facilities in the Kingdom.

Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, clarified that following the two statements issued by the Ministry of Defense on (Monday) 13 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 27, 2026, and (Tuesday) 14 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 28, 2026, regarding the interception and destruction by Saudi air defenses of several drones that attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province and Riyadh, the Saudi armed forces executed targeted strikes against militia targets associated with those attacks.

Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki affirmed that these terrorist attacks originated from Iraqi territory and were carried out by Iran-aligned terrorist militias, pointing to the Kingdom's inherent right to defend itself and its resources, and its retention of the right to respond at the appropriate time and place.

He added that these strikes were in accordance with the saying of Allah: ﴿So whoever has attacked you, then attack him in a way similar to that with which he has attacked you﴾, and based on the right to self-defense guaranteed by international law under Article (51) of the United Nations Charter.

The Kingdom confirmed that the strikes targeted specific militia objectives linked to the attacks on oil facilities, and that it does not seek escalation; however, it will respond to any aggression it faces, in a manner that preserves its security and sovereignty and protects its citizens and resources.

Foreign Affairs: Protecting Security and Resources

For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that the strikes carried out by the Saudi armed forces in coordination with the U.S. Central Command yesterday (Wednesday) were a response to specific targets in the territory of the Republic of Iraq linked to the attacks on oil facilities in the Kingdom.

The ministry indicated that this aggressive approach by the Iran-aligned terrorist militias came at a time when the Kingdom was making efforts to contribute to ending the escalation in the region in a way that preserves its security and stability; however, those militias chose a reckless escalation approach, violating international law and ignoring the principles of good neighborliness. The Kingdom reiterated that it does not seek escalation, but it will not hesitate to take all necessary measures to maintain its sovereignty and protect its citizens and resources.
