Currently serving as Chairman and Managing Partner of Catalyst Partners، an investment bank focused on SMEs with a portfolio exceeding US$40 million، Mr. Shawky's entrepreneurial acumen has been instrumental in co-founding، mentoring، and managing growth across various sectors. Prior to his current role، Mr. Shawky held executive positions at Beltone Financial Holding، a leading investment bank in Egypt، where he transformed the company from a loss-making entity to a profitable، blue-chip stock company. He also served as Executive Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange، spearheading regulatory and operational reforms to enhance market transparency and corporate governance practices. Notably، Shawky's involvement as President of the African Securities Exchanges Association played a crucial role in promoting African markets internationally.
